During the winter months (June – September) the chairlifts allow us access to the 5,400ft snow launch.
The views off the summit at Coronet Peak ski field are incredible, plus we have 1,100m vertical to play with.
This is twice the height of the Queenstown Gondola – and is Queenstown’s finest Paragliding experience.

General Terms and Conditions for Coronet Peak Tandems

Coronet Peak Tandems Ltd reserve the right to cancel or amend any trip or booking.

Please note our cancellation policies:
No charge if Coronet Peak Tandems has to cancel the trip due to unsuitable weather conditions.
20% charge if customer cancels 48 hours before departure.
50% charge if customer cancels 1 hour before departure.
100% charge if customer does not show or is late.

No refund given if exceeding the maximum passenger weight. (Maximum weight for hang gliding is 90kg, maximum weight for paragliding is 110kg).

A change of booking fee of NZ$50 per person will apply.

Gift vouchers are to be used within 6 months of purchase and are non refundable. Note: Prices and products vary throughout the seasons and valid gift vouchers can be used towards other season’s products.

Participation in paragliding/hang gliding activities involves a degree of risk and Coronet Peak Tandems cannot absolutely guarantee participants safety, although Coronet Peak Tandems does do it’s very best to keep participants safe.

You declare that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that could be affected by paragliding / hang gliding including motion sickness. Make your pilot aware of it if you do.

You release Coronet Peak Tandems, it’s management and staff of all claims in regards to loss or damage of personal possessions and / or injury. If you bring your electronic device onto the flight it is at your own risk.

Coronet Peak Tandems reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or reorganise trips.

Coronet Peak Tandems may refuse to carry a person for safety reasons.

You give permission to Coronet Peak Tandems to use imagery you are included in for promotional purposes.

    1. How long time will take from peak-up to return point?
    2. May I know the the time schedule?

      Thank you for your message.
      For the whole trip from the time we pick you up in town to your return to Queenstown allow about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
      Now in winter we have got 3 trips per day – 9.30am, 12pm and 2.15pm.
